As a Business Systems Analyst Consultant within PNC's Marketing, Communications and Engineering Systems organization, you will be based in Pittsburgh, PA or Strongsville, OH. The position is primarily based in a PNC location. Responsibilities require time in the office or in the field on a regular basis. Some responsibilities may be performed remotely, at the manager’s discretion.

Key Responsibilities:
- Work directly with business Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to gather, analyze, and document business rules, decisioning requirements, and process flows as needed.
- Analyze systems and business processes to Perform impact analysis on new requirements and existing rules, identifying potential risks and dependencies.
- Gain a deep understanding of the team's rule-based systems and work to ensure the logic is correctly captured and maintained.
- Translate business requirements into clear, concise, and accurate User Stories with detailed acceptance criteria for the engineering team.
- Actively participate in all Agile ceremonies, including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives. Lead and facilitate story refinement and grooming meetings with the crew.
- Collaborate closely with the Application Owner, Application Manager, Application Tech Lead, Product Owner, and other BSAs to prioritize the backlog, manage dependencies, and ensure alignment on project goals.
- Support the Quality Engineer team in validating that the implemented rules and features meet the business requirements and acceptance criteria.
-Support the Site Reliability Engineer team and developers in trouble shooting application issues

Preferred Skills:
- Working in Agile Teams (SAFE Agile experience is a plus)
- Familiarity with tools like Jira, Confluence, Alation.
- Working with a full stack development team (Preferably Java, ETL, Mainframe (COBOL/DB2))
- Experience with Marketing applications (Pega Customer Decision Hub, Salesforce, Adobe) is a plus
- Experience with SaaS based solutions a plus
- Conducting research and analysis for feature development.
- Guide or actively engage in backlog refinement (grooming) sessions to ensure a shared understanding of upcoming work.
- Prioritize backlog items based on their business value, alignment with project goals, and urgency.
- Financial Services industry knowledge.

  • Provides senior level consulting services to internal business groups on process improvement projects designed to improve their business results .
  • Analyzes, defines and documents clients requirements, and revises existing systems logic challenges, as necessary .
