Associate Director Software Engineering 

Job Summary:

The Associate Director will lead and manage a team responsible for developing and maintaining scalable applications and services. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in .NET and Python programming, cloud computing with AWS, container orchestration using Kubernetes, API development, and data analysis.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the design, development, and deployment of software solutions using .NET and Python.
• Manage cloud infrastructure and services on AWS, ensuring scalability and security.
• Oversee the implementation and management of Kubernetes for container orchestration.
• Design and develop APIs to facilitate integration with various systems.
• Conduct data analysis to drive business decisions and improve operational efficiency.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project requirements and deliver solutions.
• Mentor and develop team members to enhance their technical skills and career growth.
• Stay updated with industry trends and emerging technologies to drive innovation.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Proven experience in .NET and Python development.
• Strong knowledge of AWS services and architecture.
• Experience with Kubernetes and containerization technologies.
• Proficient in API development and integration.
• Solid understanding of data analysis techniques and tools.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous experience in a managerial or leadership role.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies.
• Certifications in AWS or relevant technologies.

Compensation/Benefits Information (US Applicants Only): S&P Global states that the anticipated base salary range for this position is $130,000 - $180,000. Final base salary for this role will be based on the individual’s geographic location, as well as experience level, skill set, training, licenses, and certifications. In addition to base compensation, this role is eligible for an annual incentive plan.  This role is eligible to receive additional S&P Global benefits.
