Position Overview
The Operations Consultant serves as a liaison between Life and Annuity Management and the Service Support Operation, ensuring the successful execution of projects and initiatives that impact the Service Organization. Collaborating closely with project teams, the Consultant ensures the serviceability of new and enhanced workflows and regulatory changes. Responsibilities include assessing and responding to both new and existing regulations, managing compliance-related projects, and developing operational procedures to align with these requirements.

Responsibilities
- Analyze financial transaction processes to refresh and enhance adherence to top-tier service standards.
- Oversee the review, validation, and management of reports related to financial transactions and mass mailings.
- Review and approve contract language and participate in prospectus reviews to ensure client-friendly language and serviceability on behalf of Life and Annuity Services where applicable.
- Compile requirements for Life and Annuity Service systems and Client/Producer facing financial transaction self-service applications, forms, and correspondence.
- Deliver timely updates and execution of procedures for new enhancements.
- Develop and refine procedures and forms to ensure compliance with new regulations and optimize process efficiencies.
- Lead requirements gathering for system changes driven by regulatory updates or process improvements.
- Contribute to the creation of service requirements where necessary.
- Act as a Subject Matter Expert to support service training initiatives.
- Assist in responding to audit and quality review findings.
Skills and Abilities
- Excellent negotiation and collaboration skills.

- Extensive knowledge of Penn Mutual’s products, processes, and transactions preferred.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Education
- Bachelor's Degree in related field Preferred
Experience
- 5-7 Years of experience in a Life and Annuity operations or service environment Required
Base Salary Range - $74,500 - $95,000
