Plant Based Maintenance Planner/Scheduler

We own and operate over 2,000 miles of industrial gas pipelines in the U.S. supplying mainly oxygen, nitrogen, hydrogen and syngas in large quantities from multiple production sources to major customers in the chemicals, petrochemicals, refining and steel industries. Our operations control group monitors over 89,000 data points and assists with product supply and coordination. Air Liquide Large Industries North America (LI NAM) is actively seeking a senior level Maintenance Planner/Scheduler.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Responsible for developing Central Basin maintenance plans Reports to Maintenance Managerwith dotted line to national maintenance and materials/procurement coordinator

• Utilizes Maximo PM’s , PDM’s, and plant based work order / request to establish monthly plan

• Champions role out of new Maximo in basin

• One month in advance plan to be communicated to plant based maintenance manager and materials/procurement coordinator

• Participate and/or lead daily/weekly planning meetings 

• Track prior month plan to incorporate any unaddressed items or adjust for exceptional events.

• Plans plant based local regular and exceptional maintenance and escalates to Basin Managerwhen necessary 

• Creates purchase requisitions aligned within the delegation of authority of Procure to Pay framework

• Aligns with Field Service Sourcing to organize job works for projects, TARs or regular work as required for work preparation Ensure proper documentation of work within Maximo -Review vendor repair, test & inspection reports communicating results summary to affected plants. 

• Work with the Local onsite inventory management system, National Warehouse and National maintenance to identify strategic (Inventory Supply Request)  ISR’s. 

• Engage Subject matter experts to direct and oversee vendor shop repairs ensure highest quality work and adherence to Air Liquide standards

• Tracks plant based major maintenance budget/activities to deliver on schedule and budget plan

• Participate in and understand the R&M budgeting process.  Participate in the development of annual maintenance schedule, budget and turnaround plans

• Utilize and adhere to the corporate technical standards

• Work with national warehouse to assure spare parts stocking at national warehouse

• Work closely with site personnel 

• Assist Maintenance team in maintaining equipment manuals

• Make suggestions to improve plant safety, efficiency, reliability and quality

• Lead by example and motivate others to excel and succeed

• Set and maintain high housekeeping standards

• Ability to work call-outs, nights, weekends & holidays.

• Verify all Maximo documentation completed from prior month plan

• Lead prior month plan evaluation to gather lessons learned and implement those changes in the future

• Support plant based maintenance supervisor with necessary changes to a monthly plan

• Verify material/procurement coordinator has closed all PO’s upon completion of monthly plan with compliance to Procure to Pay policies

• Assist Maintenance Manager in the development of annual budget

• From time to time support the Field activities as necessary

Required Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent required.

• 5+ years experience in plant maintenance planning activities

• Thorough understanding of safety requirements when working around plant equipment

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
