Front-End Developer (Software Engineer)

TS/SCI Required

Create modern web-based and desktop applications designed to enhance user interface with tools and capabilities created by the IDST. Translate projects created by Data Analysts and Data Scientists into modern user facing applications. Executes AGILE development using CI/CD tools to ensure expedited delivery of analytical tool to users.

Required Skills:

HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Python, UI/UX optimization

Preferred Skills (not limited to): Flask, React, CI/CD, Streamlit, Dash, SQLAlchemy

Performance Duties:

• Design, prototype, develop, and implement user-friendly applications using web-based and desktop frameworks

• Collaborate with other IDST members to create, troubleshoot, and improve user interface capabilities

• Collaborate with other IDST members and customers to achieve application optimization and enhance user experience

• Create visualizations and tools to allow users to leverage AI/ML, complex algorithms, and advanced analytics through intuitive interfaces

Required Skills/Qualifications:

• Seven years’ experience with modern Web technology stack.

• Four years of experience with web application development using JavaScript frameworks, HTML, C5S, and similar web programming technologies.

• Experience with Restful APIs, relational databases, and cross browser compatibility troubleshooting techniques.

• Current DoD Top Secret clearance and eligible for SCI access and ACCM read-on.
