Assistant Branch Manager

Heritage Landscape Supply is seeking a proactive, service-oriented Assistant Branch Manager with knowledge in the LANDSCAPE/IRRIGATION industry. As an integral part of our team, you will work closely with the Branch Manager to lead with enthusiasm, professionalism, and a commitment to completing tasks efficiently.

As an Assistant Branch Manager, your responsibilities will include managing all aspects of inventory control, such as purchasing, weekly cycle counts, pricing, and handling damaged or outdated stock. You will also oversee order processing, day-end balancing, and assist in all other aspects of running the branch.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise drivers and warehouse operations, guiding, assigning, and training personnel to efficiently manage product distribution.
• Oversee daily warehouse operations, ensuring timely and accurate order processing and prompt loading and unloading for vendors or customers.
• Manage the dispatching of trucks for accurate and timely product delivery to job sites.

Qualifications:

• Experience as a Supervisor or Assistant Manager in a warehouse environment, preferably in a similar industry.
• Product knowledge or ability to quickly learn if from a similar industry.
• Relevant purchasing and inventory management experience.
• Organized and detail-oriented, with strong computer literacy in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
• Dedicated to service and sales excellence by developing lasting customer relationships.
• Excellent verbal and written communication, organizational, and follow-up skills.
• Forklift experience helpful; Ability to lift up to 75 lbs on a repetitive basis
• Bilingual (English and Spanish) is helpful, but not required
• Knowledge of an ERP system, preferably Agility software.

• Able to pass criminal and driving background checks and a pre-employment drug test.
