Primary Roles You’ll Master

· Mechanic: Troubleshoot, maintain, and repair rock crushing plants and asphalt plants. Use your technical skills to keep everything running reliably and safely.

· Loader Operator: Operate a large Front-End Wheel Loader to move shot rock, load trucks, and manage material throughout the quarry. Maintain detailed logs of your work and support efficient operations.

· Haul Truck Operator: Drive and operate large haul trucks to transport rock, dirt, and other materials to various destinations within the site.

· Water Truck Operator: Keep dust under control by filling, driving, and operating a water truck in line with environmental requirements.

· Plant Operator: Oversee the rock crushing plant, ensuring proper setup, operation, and maintenance for maximum efficiency. Manage plant automation and compliance with environmental regulations.

· Equipment Operator: Run large dozers, excavators, and other mobile equipment over rough terrain as production demands shift.

What You'll Do

Support regular plant maintenance including welding, conveyor and bearing replacement, oil changes, and more

· Perform daily safety checks on all plants and equipment—your safety is our first priority.

· Operate machinery to maximize efficiency and productivity.

· Communicate with the onsite foreman about daily tasks and goals.

· Follow established routes and procedures to ensure safety and quality.

· Maintain a clean, organized work area and report any issues to your supervisor.

 

What We’re Looking For

· Experience: At least one year of experience in one or more of the following—front end loader, excavator, mechanic, or plant operations.

· Skills & Abilities:

· Comfortable outdoors in all weather conditions and able to lift 75 lbs (with help for heavier loads).

· Ability to work on rough terrain, climb machinery, and perform manual tasks with care.

· Basic math and reasoning skills, plus competency in reading and following instructions.

· Strong communication skills, especially in noisy environments.

Licenses: Valid Class E driver’s license (clean driving record).

Education: No formal education required—your hands-on skills and work ethic count most.

 

Work Environment & Safety

This is a safety-sensitive, hands-on role where you’ll work outdoors and around large equipment. You’ll face challenges like extreme temperatures, rough terrain, vibration, and noise—but you’ll do it as part of a supportive team. All required PPE is provided, and you must supply your own hard-toed shoes per safety rules. Drug testing and compliance with our Drug and Alcohol Policy are required.
