This position is hybrid in nature requiring 2 days/week on-site at the Westinghouse facility in Newington, NH located 1-hour North of Boston, MA. We are able to entertain all candidates authorized to work without sponsorship now and in the future as we are unable to sponsor Visa's for this opportunity.
Your Day-to-Day:
Westinghouse’s Newington New Hampshire facility is looking for a Component Delivery Manager to support the site by performing the following:
Manage a team of project controls and scheduling personnel with accountability for:
- Project Cost
- Project Schedule and Delivery
- Alignment between planned work and plant clearance requirements
- COPQ metric
- Material Inventory costs
The following standard meetings will by run by the CDM and team:
- Baseline moves meeting
- Production meeting
- Weekly status meeting around clearances
- Monthly Project Review Meetings
- Weekly SCM status meeting
Additionally, the CDM and team would perform the following:
- Project kickoff meetings
- Coordinate Pre Job Briefs on First of a kind/ first in a while/critical processes
- Post Job reviews after the work has completed entering lessons learned into the system
- Assist Operations & Engineering managers with Overtime needs
The CDM would also work with, and be the Newington point of contact for the following:
- Customers (internal or external) for project health and status
- Demand planning
- Supply Chain for status of orders
Who You Are:
As a successful candidate, you bring the following to the team:
- Bachelor’s degree. Applicable disciplines are Project Management, Engineering, Business, Construction Management or related technical discipline.
- 5 years of experience as project manager leading and directing medium or high complexity projects to successful completion;
- Broad technical knowledge of manufacturing in the nuclear industry desired.
- 5 years of experience managing direct reports.
