Staff Strategy Specialist

The staff strategy specialist will help drive the development and deployment of Northvolt’s strategy in North America. They will join a team that works across two key business units within North America 1) Cuberg (wholly owned subsidiary of Northvolt) that is commercializing next-generation battery technology to power the future of electric mobility and 2) Northvolt’s strategic gigafactory expansion into North America.
Ideal candidates are capable of leading strategic initiatives across pricing, market research, financial planning, contracting, business development, and comfortable in a fast-paced, collaborative, and dynamic startup environment.

Requirements
The team drives the development and deployment of Northvolt’s strategy in North America being closely aligned with the parent company strategy in Sweden. The team works closely with the operational and functional teams within Northvolt North America to drive company building, strategic initiatives and establishing partnerships. Additionally, bringing to market the next generation of battery technology. This means working in a highly cross-functional environment and acting as an intrapreneur in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities
- Support and lead a variety of strategic programs across Cuberg and the gigafactory expansion
- Drive Northvolt America’s strategy, lead strategic initiatives and build the company
- Establish and coordinate partnerships
- Design organizational structures and processes and align with Northvolt group functions
- Manage key processes supporting our strategy execution
- Prepare and present insights and decision materials towards our management team
Requirements
- Business economics or engineering degree (BS/MS) or equivalent years of experience
- 7+ year experience from top tier consulting, strategy department or program management
- Experience from working in/with the electric vehicle, energy or battery industry (optional)
- 5+ years experience in quantitative and qualitative analysis
