The Team:

Campbell Town Health and Community Service is a multi-purpose service inclusive of community nursing. Our community nursing team is made up of Registered Nurses, Enrolled Nurses and Health Care Assistants. All our services work closely together to focus on delivering excellence in healthcare to achieve improved outcomes for our consumers, workforce and wider community.

The Role:

Within the role of Community Nursing Registered Nurse, the appointed applicant will be expected to undertake the following duties (however not limited to) whilst contributing within a multi-disciplinary team to achieve improved health outcomes of clients. 

• wound care 
• hygiene
• reviewing client referrals and outlining care regime
• reviewing and updating care plans
• client assessments 
• falls risk assessments 
• medication management 
• support and care of palliative care patients and their families

Details of appointment:

Fixed term part time, day worker position, working up to 8 hours per fortnight, commencing from 4 February 2025 until 4 February 2026

*notwithstanding hours to be negotiated with the successful applicant.

Salary: $78,179 to $105,995 per annum (Pro rata). Our Employer 11.5% superannuation contribution is on top of this amount.

• Salary range is in accordance with Nurses and Midwives (Tasmania State Service) Agreement 2023.

Access to the Grade 4 salary range $99,455- $105,995 is subject to successful application for progression to Grade 4

In addition, the following allowances calculated on the salaried incremental point may be available:

• Post Graduate Allowance of up to 10 % based on qualification type

Salary Packaging:

You’ll have access to salary package a range of benefits including living expenses up to $9,010 + $2,650 in meal entertainment each FBT year + other benefits if eligible.

Eligibility:

Successful applicants will be required to meet the essential criteria:

• Registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia as a Registered Nurse
• Current Driver’s Licence
