Job Description
What You Get To Do In This Role:
The Director of OE Strategic Programs reports to the Vice President of Operational Excellence. This Operational Excellence team is a high-impact and highly influential team that is responsible for driving enterprise-wide operational leverage.
In this role, you will be a senior engagement leader, drive and accelerate enterprise-level transformation and operational process improvement. You will directly and indirectly lead a cross-functional and inter-disciplinary team to rapidly assess, diagnosis, recommend and implement process improvements to yield operational excellence. The ideal candidate is cross-functionally experienced, has a track record of driving transformation, expert influence skills at executive and core team levels, and high work ethic.
This position requires strong leadership and influence skills, and you must be able to reimagine how work gets done. Our strategic programs are global, enterprise wide, and cross-functional in nature. A deep understanding of management consulting, program management, process design, implementation, change management, and release management is required for you to be successful in this role. This is a hands-on role that requires the ability to work effectively at all engagement and activity levels.

Qualifications
To be successful in this role you have:
- 15+ years of experience leading and driving Operational Excellence or Strategic Program Management in a top technology company or equivalent experience in management consulting.
- An all-around athlete with deep experience in multi business functions / disciplines
- Energetic self-starter with a proven track record for getting things done in a high-growth, ambiguous environment
- Highly skilled at building trusted relationships and influencing others, particularly with executive leadership teams.
- Strong understanding of the ‘heart of the business’ and experience working directly or indirectly with various business functions and multiple aspects of the business value chain, from business and product development to downstream support operations.
- Ability to think strategically, understand the big picture and connect the dots between strategy and operational priorities, as well as translate the strategy into effective execution and tangible outcomes.
- Ability to manage effectively in a matrixed organization, drive sponsorship for outcomes and maintain cross -functional status and alignment to key business priorities.
- Excellent project management skills and the ability to lead complex projects to completion.
- Strong level of comfort with business and technical discussions, with the ability to understand and articulate the business impacts of technical actions and vice versa.
