About the role

The Quality Operator serves as a key link between quality assurance and production execution, ensuring products are manufactured to Reckitt quality standards, Right First Time (RFT) expectations, and GMP requirements in a safe, compliant, and efficient manner. The position balances ownership of quality-critical controls, documentation, and compliance with hands-on operation of the production line to meet daily output requirements. The Quality Operator works under the day-to-day direction of the Team Captain and reports directly to the Shift Supervisor.

Your responsibilities

  • Own and control critical quality parameters for assigned equipment and systems, including reject systems, On-Line Vision/Verification (OLV), check-weighers, and metal detectors.
  • Complete all In-Process Checks (IPCs), pre-start checks, functionality checks, and completion checks in accordance with batch record requirements.
  • Participate in quality incident and deviation investigations by gathering relevant data related to the incident and documenting findings in the quality system.
  • Accurately complete batch records and all other required documentation in full compliance with established procedures and cGMP requirements.
  • Perform material reconciliation at the completion of a work order to ensure materials were not mixed, quantities are accurate, and waste is properly identified and recorded.
  • Execute SAP transactions as required to support product flow and material movement within the area.
  • Issue, verify, and document materials in accordance with batch documentation and system requirements.
  • Performs all essential functions of a Production Operator, including equipment operation, monitoring, and routine adjustments. Actively operates the production line between quality and process checks, and as required to meet production demands, ensuring continuous and efficient production.
  • Follow all safety protocols, wear required protective equipment and proactively identify safety improvements using internal reporting tools.
  • Take ownership of individual training plans and support cross-training efforts.
  • Complete additional tasks as assigned.

 

The experience we're looking for

  • Minimum of two years of experience operating manufacturing equipment and performing quality checks in a manufacturing or similar environment.
  • Must have experience working in a GMP‑regulated environment.
  • Experience using an ERP system, preferably SAP.
  • Must have a stable employment history with a record of satisfactory attendance and punctuality.

  • Basic math and computer skills sufficient to perform calculations, data entry, and system transactions.
  • Demonstrated strong attention to detail and accuracy in both documentation and execution of tasks.
