Associate Information Analyst - Full Time - Days

Job Summary
The Associate Application Analyst will have primary responsibility for the design, build/configuration, testing, validation, documentation and ongoing support of various software applications. Works under the direction of the Epic Applications Manager or designee.
Core Job Responsibilities
• Assists in administering and supporting assigned systems under the guidance of senior members of the team.
• Participates in documenting and revising system design procedures, test procedures, and quality standards.
• Expand or modify system to serve new purposes or improve workflows.
• Review and analyze system and performance indicators to locate problems and correct errors. Escalate problems and issues to appropriate staff to ensure timely resolution.
• Participate in version upgrades on a scheduled basis to keep applications and users current.
• Assists with coordinating projects, scheduling, and facilitating meetings to complete assignments.
• Assists in maintaining records for change requests, stage in approval process, training for change, and go live dates. Regularly attends change control committee.
• Participate with clinical disciplines to support end user engagement, intentional design, and workflow control
• Assists in providing technical and functional analyst support.
• Performs related duties as assigned.
Education/Experience Requirements
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
• High School Diploma/GED and 1 year of experience in IT or an analytical clinical discipline.
• Epic Application certification or obtained within 6 months of employment.
• Proficient in use of Microsoft Office or similar applications.
• Excellent communication (verbal and written), analytical, team, and time management skills.
• Ability to exercise tact and good interpersonal skills.
• Demonstrated ability to complete projects independently, solve complex problems and resolve conflicts in a timely manner.
• Demonstrated understanding of healthcare organizations, ancillary systems, and health system operations.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
• Associates Degree and 3 years of experience in IT or an analytical clinical discipline or Bachelor's Degree
• Experience in Clinical Setting.
• Experience with Electronic Health Records platforms (Epic), ITSM applications (KACE), HRIS (Infor/Work Day), cloud deployments (Azure, AWS), and other digital platforms and services.
