Become a <b>maker of possible </b>with us. </p><p>The Director of Finance, Urology position is a leadership role within the BD UCC Business Unit and reports directly to the VP of Finance for the UCC business. This leader will serve as a finance business partner to two Platform Vice Presidents / General Managers and will be responsible for the management of all finance activities of the US $1.4B US Urology business.  The core responsibilities will include providing sound financial guidance to the leadership team; providing relevant and timely financial information for effective decision making; leading financial planning and reporting processes; delivering value-added analysis; supporting new product development; being a core member of the Platform Leadership Team. The individual should have a demonstrated track record of contributions leading to improved financial performance, heightened productivity and strategic decision making. The Director also leads and develops a team of finance professionals while fostering a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and business partnership.</p><p><b>Key Responsibilities</b></p><p><b>Financial Planning, Forecasting &amp; Reporting</b></p><ul><li>Lead the end-to-end financial planning cycle, including Annual Strategic Review (ASR), annual budgets, quarterly forecasts, monthly projections, and long-range planning.</li><li>Support the preparation of monthly Global Operating Committee (GOC) and Operating Committee (OC) presentations and executive reporting packages.</li><li>Analyze operating results, identify key business drivers, and communicate performance trends, risks, and opportunities to business and finance leadership.</li><li>Drive variance analysis against budget, forecast, prior year, and strategic commitments.</li><li>Ensure timely and accurate submission of financial deliverables across global stakeholders.</li></ul><p><b>Business Partnership &amp; Strategic Support</b></p><ul><li>Serve as the primary finance partner to Platform Leadership Teams, providing financial guidance and strategic decision support.</li><li>Deliver actionable insights and recommendations that drive business growth, profitability, and operational excellence.</li><li>Support strategic initiatives through financial modeling, scenario analysis, ROI evaluations, and business case development.</li><li>Collaborate with Strategy, Marketing, R&amp;D, Operations, and Regional teams to support execution of business objectives.</li><li>Develop financial metrics and dashboards that improve visibility into business performance and strategic progress.</li></ul><p><b>Mergers, Acquisitions &amp; Business Development</b></p><ul><li>Support new business development activities, including acquisitions, divestitures, licensing opportunities, and product development initiatives.</li><li>Lead financial aspects of transaction activities, including valuation modeling, due diligence, business case development, and executive presentations.</li><li>Partner with cross-functional teams to evaluate inorganic growth opportunities and assess strategic fit.</li><li>Support acquisition integration planning and financial tracking of synergy realization.</li><li>Maintain and continuously improve M&amp;A financial processes, reporting tools, and playbooks.</li></ul><p><b>Leadership &amp; Talent Development</b></p><ul><li>Lead, coach, and develop a team of FP&amp;A professionals, including Senior Financial Analysts and Finance Managers.</li><li>Provide ongoing performance feedback, mentoring, and development opportunities to strengthen organizational capability.</li><li>Foster an engaged, collaborative, and high-performing team environment.</li><li>Build organizational knowledge and develop futu
