Medical Assistant, Urgent Care
Mass General BrighamAbout the role
Mass General Brigham relies on a wide range of professionals, including doctors, nurses, business people, tech experts, researchers, and systems analysts to advance our mission. As a not-for-profit, we support patient care, research, teaching, and community service, striving to provide exceptional care. We believe that high-performing teams drive groundbreaking medical discoveries and invite all applicants to join us and experience what it means to be part of Mass General Brigham.
Our Urgent Care Centers are designed to provide walk-in service for minor conditions such as allergies, respiratory infections, sore throats, sports injuries, minor cuts and bruises, and various illnesses requiring immediate non-emergency medical care in the South Shore region south of Boston. Our qualified, friendly health care providers treat adults and children (age 6 months and up). We know urgent medical situations often happen unexpectedly, so our clinics are open seven days a week, and most visits last less than an hour, so our patients can get back to what matters. Our operating hours are weekdays from 8:00am-7:00pm, Saturdays from 9:00am-3:30pm, and Sundays 9:00am-1:00pm.
We are seeking a per-diem Medical Assistant to join our Urgent Care teams in South Weymouth and Pembroke!
Schedule Expectations: Our per-diem Medical Assistants are expected to commit to at least (36) hours worked per 4-week scheduling period. Weekday shifts are 12 hours, Saturday shift is 7 hours, and Sunday shift is 5 hours. Additionally, we are open most major holidays, so we request coverage availability of one holiday per year. We are closed on Christmas Day, Thanksgiving Day, and New Years Day.
