We have an excellent opportunity for a full-time beginner Project Carpenter/Tile Setter based in Baldwin Park, CA.  The Project Carpenter will cover the In-N-Out Burger stores throughout California.  The Carpenter will be responsible for the maintenance and construction of all In-N-Out Burger facilities and restaurants in the area of carpentry and tile setting.  
General Responsibilities

• Strong Tile setting experience necessary; will install tiles on floors, walls and ceilings; install tiles in the restaurants and the bathrooms 
• Perform basic Locksmith work and Tile application repair
• Responsible for running projects and service calls, either alone, or with the assistance of other carpenters  
• Spend time at the shop stocking inventory, maintaining phone contacts, and completing assigned paperwork
• Remodel In-N-Out Burger dining rooms; knowledge of basic plumbing
• Available to assist on emergency store calls for the In-N-Out Burger restaurants 
• Maintain tool and supply inventory on truck
• All tools and supplies provided by In-N-Out Burger

• Pay Range is $27.75-$31.75 per hour (Beginner)
• Pay Range is $36.00-$41.50 per hour (Intermediate)                   
  The above represents the expected pay range for this job requisition. Ultimately, in determining your pay, we will consider your experience and other job-related factors.
• Schedule: 7 days on/7 days off; rotating days
• Hours: Graveyard shift: 12:00 a.m. to 10:30 a.m.; overtime as needed
• Travel: 40-50% of time, work will be spent out of town 
• Company truck will be assigned (Must live within 45 miles of Baldwin Park Warehouse)

Travel Schedule

• Extensive travel is required - Carpenters work on all In-N-Out restaurants throughout the state of California, and sometimes out of state
• Will require out-of-town travel for 1-2 weeks at a time, every month or every other month
• Travel will require out of town hotel stays for 1 week, or more, at a time

Qualifications

• 1-2+ years experience in Carpentry, Construction, or related fields 
• 1-2+ years experience in Tile setting; Tile contractor experience a plus 
• Extensive out of town and overnight travel: Ability to travel and be out of town for 1 week or more, at least every month or every other month
• Strong customer service orientation  
• Self-starter, independent worker, Pride and ownership of work
• Strong attention to detail and good time management
• Ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs.
• High School diploma or equivalent
• A Valid California Driver's License with a clean driving record
• Strong verbal and written English language communication skills
