Part-Time Promotions Assistant

Cumulus | San Francisco is seeking enthusiastic and hard-working people to join the Promotions Grounds Crew team! The position is part-time and assists the Marketing and Promotions Department with events and office work.

Our Opportunity

The Promotions Grounds Crew team travels around the Bay Area and represents the Cumulus stations at specified events, acting as Brand Ambassadors. This includes setting up pop-up tents and tables, hanging banners, interacting with listeners and registering people to win prizes. To join the team, you must be able to lift 50 pounds, and be on your feet for extended periods of time. 

In the office, the Promotions Grounds Crew team handles prize fulfillment, event preparation, posting to station websites, contest building, prize sheet creation, brainstorming new ideas and other promotion-oriented tasks. Having a basic knowledge of Photoshop and graphic design is a plus! The position also includes running errands and helping with vehicle maintenance. 

To join the Promotions Grounds Crew team, you must: 

• Have a valid California Driver’s license and a clean driving record
• Study or have studied broadcasting, communications, marketing or something comparable
• Be outgoing, energetic, detail-oriented and responsible
• Have excellent communication and computer skills 
• Be familiar and have experience with all major social media platforms, like Facebook, Twitter and Instagram
• Know the formats and brands of KNBR, KTCT, KGO, KSFO, 107.7 THE BONE 
• Have a flexible schedule and be available to work at least 20 hours per week, including days, nights, weekends and holidays
• Commit to working two holidays per year
