This is a remote position. You can work from home and be located anywhere in the UK.
About the team
The Solution Consultant, as a developing professional, will be responsible for understanding Kinaxis customers’ most pressing business performance challenges and will be committed to helping our customers solve complex issues in their supply chain management practice. The incumbent will work with new and existing customers and will provide expert guidance in integrating our product offerings so that our customers can start to experience the immediate value of Kinaxis solutions.
What you will do
Configure Kinaxis Maestro software based on customer business requirements, ensuring solution configurations are of high quality, aligned with user stories, and completed in accordance with timelines.
Support senior consultants in reviewing and researching possible solutions to meet customer requirements.
Collaborate with senior consultants on assignments and assist with research for configurations for customer requirements for complex deployments.
Update documentation for solution implementation.
Perform the validation and testing of the solution and capture user feedback.
Support data management and data integration-related activities, under the direction of senior consultants and support deployment workshops by preparing documentation with the help of the Solution Architect and taking notes during the sessions.
Perform training of customer end users on the configured solution.
Deepen knowledge of supply chain best practices and the Maestro solution.
See to any other reasonable project-related task assigned.
What we are looking for
Primary skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain, Operations Research, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Statistics, Information Technology or a related field.
- Passion for working in customer-facing roles and able to demonstrate strong interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
- 1-3 years of experience in implementing or deploying software applications in the supply chain management space or experience in a production planning or demand management industry role.
- Self-starter who shows initiative in their work and learning and can excel in a fast-paced work environment.
- Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills, able to synthesize a high volume of complex information to determine the best course of action.
- Works well in a team environment and can work effectively with people at all levels in an organization.
- Ability to work in a collaborative matrixed environment with multiple team members.
- Ability to communicate complex ideas effectively, both verbally and in writing.
Role specific skills
- Experience working with supply chain processes and manufacturing planning solutions such as Maestro, SAP, Oracle, or Blue Yonder applications to support supply chain activities.
- General proficiency in the application of supply chain concepts and best practices related to forecasting, MRP (Material Requirements Planning), Constraint Management, and Production Scheduling.
- Technical skills such as SQL, R and Java Script are a definite asset.
- Open to travel 75% on average and 100% occasionally and can work effectively when working remotely from client sites.
