Job DetailsJob Location: TX Houston Pinemont - Houston, TX 77040Position Type: Full TimeSummary/Purpose of the Position:
The Offset Digital Bindery I will be responsible for operating, maintaining, and troubleshooting bindery equipment to produce high-quality printed materials. This position will also be responsible for various other aspects of finishing and packaging products in accordance with job specifications and company procedures.

Essential Duties, Functions and/or Responsibilities:

Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot bindery equipment such as cutters, folders, gluers, trimmers, and binders
Read and understand work orders and job specifications to ensure accurate and timely production of printed materials
Adjust machinery as needed to ensure quality and efficiency
Follow company safety regulations and procedures to maintain a safe working environment
Maintain bindery equipment to ensure proper working order
Package and process completed orders for shipment
Read and understand work orders and job specifications to ensure accurate and timely production of printed materials
Maintain a clean and organized workspace
Demonstrate proficiency in operating various bindery equipment
Work collaboratively with team members to achieve production goals
Complete tasks in a timely and efficient manner
Communicate effectively with management regarding any issues or concerns that may arise
Update job status in company database and provide timely feedback to customers
Operate pallet jacks and other material handling equipment as needed
Indirectly responsible for product quality
Other duties as assigned

QualificationsEducation and/or Work Experience Requirements:

High School Diploma or GED required
Previous experience in bindery operations or related field preferred
Strong customer service skills
Proficient in math and able to read a ruler
Basic computer skills
Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to troubleshoot problems
Effective communication skills
Ability to read and follow instructions
Excellent time management and organizational skills with attention to detail

Physical Requirements:

Ability to safely and successfully perform essential job functions in accordance with the ADA, FMLA, and other federal, state, and local standards, including meeting qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards
Ability to maintain regular and timely attendance in accordance with the ADA, FMLA, and other federal, state, and local regulations
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. when necessary
