In this role, you will:
Kimberly-Clark is seeking a Field Research Technician to join our agriculture team. This position will require a motivated self-starter to assist with a wide variety of R&D tasks for the development of a new crop. This role will require the right candidate to collaborate regularly with lead agronomists, scientists, and other cross-functional partners in the organization; perform extensive in-field trial work, data collection & organization. - Conduct, measure, and report on field and greenhouse activities to increase yield, maximize sustainability, understand growth and development for production of a new crop.
- Perform field trials and report results to help transition R&D concepts into commercial protocols.
- Conduct technically sound data collection and reporting to the agriculture research team in a timely manner.
- Work in a cross-discipline environment with high degree of flexibility, including working with external partner collaborations, public / private research organizations, etc.

- Bachelors in Life Science or related field of study, Associate’s degree in Life Science with 2 years relevant experience, or 4 years of relevant experience
- Live within commuting distance or ability to relocate to Western Arizona
- Knowledge of field trial methodology and data collection
- Capable of performing in-field tasks and physically demanding field activities in an outdoor environment in high Arizona temperatures
- Demonstrated ability to accomplish tasks independently, while functioning in a team environment, to complete projects within required timeframe
- Effective communication skills, both oral and written, and the ability to interact with cross-functional team members and external partners
- Demonstrated capability to build individual talent (continuing self-development)
