Position Description:

 

As support to the Ground /Air Task Oriented Radar (G/ATOR) Program Management Office (PMO) the candidate should be able to apply organizational skills to support test planning, execution, data collection and analysis, and reporting.   Requirements for this position include proficiency in Microsoft products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio), critical thinking and analysis skills, ability to work within a team environment, and execute tasks as directed to meet product deadlines.  The candidate should have experience using data analysis tools and knowledge of the Windows OS environment and be able to navigate defined file structures.

 

Responsibilities and Duties: 

 

• Serves as a data analyst for the USMC TPS-80 G/ATOR development program.  
• Participates as part of a test team, supporting test planning, defining data to be collected during test, collecting test data, performing data analysis, and generating summary reports for presentation.
• Supports engineering efforts related to design, testing, and analysis of G/ATOR upgrades or modifications. 
• Evaluates test plans and provides recommendations for data collection.
• Supports test execution, acting as data collection coordinator and lead for data reduction and analysis. 
• Participates in post testing analysis, group discussion and report generation.

 

Required Qualifications and Skills:

 

• Practical experience in test planning and participating as part of a test team.
• Experience with use of data analysis tools.
• Experience providing analysis summaries and generating reports and presentations.
• Experience with data extraction and archiving.
• Experience participating in post-testing working groups and related analysis meetings.
• Interpersonal communication and presentation skills (oral and written).
• Personal Computer skills (competent with MS Office applications).

Other Requirements:

• Experience in DoD major program development 
• Active Secret Security Clearance 

Travel Requirements:

Extensive travel is required to support test events and coordination meetings (as much as 50% travel)
