We treat each other with care and respect and make time to give everyone a voice.</p><h3>Job Description</h3><p>The Project Manager will act as the Contracting Entity’s representative, taking responsibility for managing the project from planning and design through to the successful completion and commissioning of the project. The Project Manager is responsible for delivering the project to time, to budget and to specification, ensuring the project achieves all project goals and objectives in accordance with the Contracting Entity’s employer’s requirements and the corporate strategic intent for the portfolio.</p><p><em>Programme Requirements, Standards & Performance</em></p><ul><li>Oversee and monitor the delivery of the project around schedule, interface, cost, variations, contract and risk, liaising with the relevant team members and functions as required</li><li>Develop the Project Execution Plan, ensuring the project is aligned to and delivers in accordance with the Contracting Entity’s standards and methods</li><li>Engage with and manage the project relationship with the Airport Transformation Manager.</li></ul><p><em>Project Management Activities</em></p><ul><li>Lead the coordination of the project ensuring interfaces are considered and addressed at all stages of the project lifecycle</li><li>Maintain the Responsible / Accountable / Consulted / Informed task tracker</li><li>Work with the technical teams in coordinating and managing the design consultants and other external service providers</li><li>Organise the appropriate design review meetings and be responsible for communicating design acceptance to the Contractor</li><li>Be responsible for communicating design changes to relevant members of the project team and stakeholders who may be impacted</li><li>Report monthly on the tasks throughout the project’s lifecycle including construction works (during the construction phase) that have been undertaken</li><li>Maintain the overall project risk register and update at monthly progress meetings</li><li>Identify opportunities to improve Project Management procedures, templates and products referring ideas to the appropriate line manager</li><li>Monitor and apply performance management techniques</li><li>Manage the change control process</li><li>Manage the flow of project information between the team and the client, through regular meetings and written communications</li></ul><p><em>NEC Specific Activities (where applicable)</em></p><ul><li>Review and accept programme submissions</li><li>Lead and act in the spirit of mutual trust and co-operation</li><li>Communicate and issue documents as required by the ECC and perform any other duties as stated in the contract</li><li>Carry out the duties as the Project Manager as required by the Contracting Entity’s contract for the Programme, maintaining close contact with the Client in order to ensure the Project Manager’s actions reflect the Contracting Entity’s obj
