About the Role:

The Clinical Nurse Educator (Manager, Clinical Education) leads hospital-wide educational programs to support staff development, clinical excellence, and regulatory compliance. This leadership role shapes the future of patient care by managing clinical educators, coordinating competency assessments, and driving professional growth.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead daily operations of the education department to align with hospital goals.
• Supervise and support clinical educators in program planning and delivery.
• Collaborate with nursing leaders and providers to assess and fulfill learning needs.
• Design and implement orientation programs and ongoing competency evaluations.
• Monitor and analyze educational outcomes to ensure program effectiveness.
• Oversee preceptor training and professional development initiatives.
• Promote certification, continuing education, and evidence-based practices.
• Maintain compliance with regulatory and accreditation standards.
• Contribute to the design and delivery of learning solutions across disciplines.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

Required:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing or Education
• 5–7 years of clinical experience in an acute care or similar setting
• RN Licensure (State or Compact)
• BLS Certification

Preferred:

• Master’s Degree in Nursing or Education
• 2–4 years in education, leadership, or management
• Life Support Instructor certifications (BLS, ACLS, PALS)
• NPD (Nursing Professional Development) certification

• Experience with adult learning, instructional design, and LMS platforms
• Knowledge of healthcare accreditation and compliance standards
