KBR's Defense Systems Engineering (DSE) unit provides technical solutions in systems engineering, AI, C6ISR, and missile defense for the Department of Defense and Intelligence Community. Supporting defense modernization and national security across land, sea, air, space, and cyberspace, DSE ensures customer satisfaction with its expertise in scientific research, engineering, and mission operations.
Job Summary
Responsible for technical/operational leadership of a project/mission within the programmatic guidelines set by senior management and the customer. Serves as the single point of contact between the USG and Prime Contractor. Conducts frequent interface with USG leadership. Initiates coordination between resource managers/supervisors/subordinates and ensures all necessary reviews and approvals are received. Proactively identifies and solves the most complex problems that impact the program. Recognized as an individual with a high degree of initiative and advanced expertise which may span multiple disciplines. Serves as the central point of contact for logistics and maintenance issues. Organizes and coordinates the planning and production of activities associated with assigned delivery order projects.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Writes technical reports documenting the status of maintenance and repair actions for a fleet of Configuration 2/2+ Patriot equipment.
- Serves as the single point of contact between the USG and Prime Contractor.
- Serves as Subject Matter Expert (SME) on the Patriot Missile System.
- Provides logistical and technical support for PATRIOT Recapitalization (RECAP), Reset and Modernization.
- Turn-in and issue of major end items.
- System Integration and Check Out.
Basic Qualifications:
- 10-15 years’ experience in program management
- Bachelor’s degree
- Must be a US Citizen with valid US Passport
- Currently hold or can obtain a US issued Security Clearance. Minimum clearance required: Secret
- Patriot Training Aids, Devices, Simulators, and Simulations (TADSS)

- Supply Chain Management
- Budget Analysis/Management
- Resource Management
- Fiber Optics Repair
- Patriot Configuration 2/Configuration 2+ Experience
- U.S. European and African Command Area of Responsibility Experience
- PATRIOT Intermediate Maintenance
