SUMMARY:
The Security Team Manager (STM) serves as the day-to-day manager of a site security team at a datacenter, overseeing administrative officers, responders, and other security personnel. Reporting directly to the Campus Security Manager (CSM), the STM ensures a cohesive and high-performing team, working collaboratively with other security team managers to maintain a safe environment.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  1. Actively manages site security personnel; collaborates with the local branch for recruitment, onboarding, training, and development.
  2. Provides coaching and implements disciplinary actions as per policy.
  3. Ensures adherence to policies and procedures by responders and control room supervisors; may act in these roles during peak periods or staff absences.
  4. Works with the CSM to achieve site health and key performance goals; enhances security team effectiveness.
  5. Conducts audits, prepares critical reports, and shares confidential information with client management.
  6. Oversees and maintains site security systems for safe and compliant operations.
  7. Troubleshoots on-site security technology as needed.
  8. Assists in site equipment inspections and ensures audit compliance.
  9. Maintains accurate security documentation following established policies.
  10. Acts as the primary contact for datacenter management and security personnel in the absence of the CSM.
  11. Performs additional tasks assigned by management.
  12. Keeps management informed of major achievements, issues, and concerns.
  13. Identifies security gaps and proposes enhancements to the security program.
  14. Evaluates and escalates potential safety issues within the facility.
  15. Adheres to safe work practices and company safety policies; reports unsafe conditions promptly.
  16. Conducts all duties in an ethical, professional manner according to company policies and procedures.
