Description
The Office of the Prosecutors Advisory Council (PAC) in association with the Office of the Attorney General presides over the financial administration of the Unified Prosecutorial System, consisting of 177 Commonwealth's and County Attorneys and their employees.

PAC has a vacant Administrative Specialist Senior position and is looking for a new member of their team to provide administrative and fiscal support to the Unified Prosecutorial System.

This Administrative Specialist Senior position is responsible for:
  • Audit supply and printing orders, contact offices in a timely manner regarding issues and reviews account balances.
  • Prepare orders and verify receipt of order. Coordinate payment of supply orders through Procard.
  • Compile, prepare and scan all financial documents for division. Routinely verify that records are complete and easily recovered through system.
  • Answer and route incoming calls in a timely and professional manner.
  • Distribute agency mail and mails vendor checks.
  • Assist with preparation of materials for PAC meetings and other special projects.

  • Able to prioritize and plan work activities to use time efficiently
The successful candidate should have experience in the following areas:
  • Receiving and processing orders
  • Procard use and guidelines
  • Records maintenance and management
  • Managing phone and email communications with the public and staff.
Minimum Requirements
EDUCATION: Graduate of a college or university with a bachelor's degree.

EXPERIENCE, TRAINING, OR SKILLS: Three years of professional, administrative, or business experience.

Substitute EDUCATION for EXPERIENCE: Additional education will substitute for the required experience on a year-for-year basis.

Substitute EXPERIENCE for EDUCATION: Additional administrative, business, research, and/or clerical experience will substitute for the required education on a year-for-year basis.

Working Conditions
Incumbents working in this job title primarily perform duties in an office setting.
Probationary Period
This job has an initial and promotional probationary period of 6 months, except as provided in KRS 18A.111.
