Production Coordinator

We seek a detail-oriented Production Coordinator to join our Order Management team in Joppa, MD.  Our OM Department is critical in coordinating our operation workflow, ensuring all materials and goods required for customer orders are delivered promptly and productively. The ideal candidate will be a quick learner with strong problem-solving and teamwork attributes. 

 

JOB DUTIES:

 

• Prepare, issue, and review production workflow
• Planning and prioritizing operations to ensure maximum performance and minimum delay
• Determining manpower, equipment, and raw materials needed to cover operational demand
• Ensure our goods are produced on time for distribution in a profitable manner
• Monitor jobs to ensure they will finish on time and within budget
• Address issues when they arise aiming for minimum disruption
• Collaborate with quality control, warehouse, and other operational team members
• Company travel required when applicable

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

 

• Bachelor’s and Trade Degree required OR equivalent experience in a production/manufacturing environment
• Experienced in production planning and quality control principles
• Strong time management skills, urgency, and aptitude for effectively prioritizing tasks within multiple projects
• Ability to communicate effectively, present, and influence credibly at all levels
• Problem-Solving – Able to investigate root cause and suggest workable solutions
• Deductive Reasoning – Ability to apply general rules to problems to produce sensible answers
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
• Working knowledge of MS Office and SAP experience preferred
