About the role

The Lead troubleshoots, repairs, maintains equipment as assigned, and assumes day-to-day coordination of specific agreements or projects as assigned to ensure contractual commitments are met in a timely, cost-effective manner. Must speak and understand English, have Janitorial leadership experience as well as carpet and floor tech experience. 

 

Location: This a rover position, meaning you will be traveling to different sites every day. 
Shift: Must have open availability 
Requirements: Have janitorial leadership experience as well as carpet and floor tech experience. Able to pass an MVR and XM drug test. 
Payrate: $24-$26 Hourly  


The pay listed is the hourly range or the hourly rate for this position.   A specific offer will vary based on applicant’s experience, skills, abilities, geographic location, and alignment with market data.

Basic Qualifications:


•  Must be 18 years of age or older
•  Must possess valid, unexpired driver's license
•  Janitorial lead experience as well as Floor and carpet care experience. 

Preferred Qualifications:
•  One (1) year of prior lead or supervisory experience 
 
Responsibilities:
•  Maintain records of technical knowledge regarding equipment and concepts
•  Handle heavy workload
•  Inform customer when arriving at or leaving the job and when planning to return 
•  Manage workload and job scheduling
•  Promptly and accurately complete all required paperwork  
•  Manage team of 10 - 15 employees
•  Keep manager informed of customer feedback
•  Communicate effectively and promptly
•  Provide technical training and knowledge as needed to client, customer and team
•  Floor tech experience in: Carpet and floor care, stripper, wax, vct, mar mold, granite, wood.
•  When the Supervisor is present, the lead worker may also be responsible for directing smaller work groups 
•  Report team performance issues to the Supervisor
