Intern, Manufacturing Engineer

Position

We have an exciting opportunity for an Intern, Manufacturing Engineer, to join our Windsor, CT team. The Manufacturing Engineer Intern will support a range of technical responsibilities in a high pace manufacturing production environment. The internship will provide a college-level student with practical experience related to his or her major that will enhance and complement classroom learning.

Responsibilities

•Follow all safety rules
•Convert operation sheets from AutoCAD to NX
•Convert operation sheets from Creo to NX
•Self-check and forward to manager
•Perform time studies and confirm in JDE
•Other assignments from ME Manager.

Qualifications

•Qualified candidates must be in their Sophomore, Junior or Senior Year, with a minimum GPA of 3.0. 
•Pursuing a Bachelors’ Degree in Mechanical/Manufacturing Engineering or related field.
•Knowledge of continuous improvement methodologies 
•Innovative approach for driving process efficiencies and cost reduction
•Ability to perform multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
•Good interpersonal skills with ability to deal with all levels in the organization
