Location: The Learning Experience - Ledgewood
Pay: $16–$17 per hour
Schedule: Full-Time or Part-Time, Monday–Friday (Afternoon Closing Shift)
The Learning Experience is seeking a dependable Early Childhood Teacher to support our classrooms during the afternoon and closing hours. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with children in the later part of the day while helping maintain consistent routines, positive transitions, and a calm end-of-day environment.
This position supports multiple classrooms and ensures children remain safe, engaged, and cared for until dismissal.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support classroom activities during afternoon and closing hours
- Assist with transitions, end-of-day routines, and classroom organization
- Engage children through play, learning activities, and positive guidance
- Maintain a safe, clean, and developmentally appropriate environment
- Communicate professionally with families during pick-up times
- Support closing procedures and classroom readiness for the next day
- Follow all health, safety, and licensing requirements
- High school diploma or GED required
- Prior childcare or early childhood experience preferred
- Reliable, responsible, and team-oriented
- Ability to meet state childcare licensing and background requirements
