Job Description
Ingram Content Group (ICG) is hiring for an International Sales Specialist to contribute to our team in LaVergne, TN just outside Nashville. This is a hybrid position; however, this person must live in the local area.
In this role, you will provide support to International Sales Team (Wholesale/CDF/UK Wholesale) and assist in managing assigned International accounts. You will collaborate with the existing customers and prospects to represent Ingram Book Group (IBG) in the promotion, coordination and participation of selling Ingram Book Group programs, products, systems and services to new and existing clients with regards to opening orders. You’ll work with sales team, identify prospective customers through business contacts and participate in industry organizations. In addition, you’ll explain the company’s terms, policies and procedures and, under direct supervision, integrate customers into IBG.

Required Qualifications:
- HS Diploma or GED
- 2 years’ experience in sales OR book industry
- 2 years’ experience in customer service
- 1 year of Intermediate EXCEL experience to include data manipulation/design, charts and formulas
Preferred Skills:
- Experience using SharePoint
- Experience doing sales reporting
Key Responsibilities:
- Learns to represent IBC with respect to promotion, sales, and service to a variety of international customers within a defined geographical area to potential accounts; to include all IBC services including new and backlist title sales, potential merchandise marketing planning and establishing and maintaining customer relations.
- Ensures high post-sales satisfaction by working with the sales team to facilitate positive long-term relationships and high potential for repeat business with customers.
- Sells Ingram Book Group’s programs, systems and services to new customers.
- Evaluates new customer needs and prepares sales offers, providing comparison with competitors, to meet those needs.
- Works with other Ingram departments and business units across various time zones to effectively manage and support all new accounts.
- Monitors and helps manage customer portals to ensure the company is meeting and/or exceeding metrics/SLA’s set by the customer.
- Works with International Sales Managers in a project management role to initiate, monitor and manage various projects.
