Plant Accountant (Seguin, TX)

Job Details:

SUMMARY:
​This position is responsible for supervising all accounting personnel related to plant functions. Other duties include:

• Supervising clerks to make sure that all weekly accounting activities are performed

• Activities will involve scale house accounting payroll, activity yield reporting, profit loss reporting, and month-end general ledger accounting

• Tracking plant cost

• CIR preparation and tracking

• Audit activities

• Other analysis as assigned.

REQUIREMENTS:

Education: Bachelor's degree in an academic field directly related to the position or equivalent work experience.
Experience: 1 plus years experience in an accounting related field.
Computer Skills: Standard computer skills; Microsoft Office Excel and Word. Communication Skills: Good written and verbal communication skills. Supervisory: Responsible for supervising management support Team Members. Travel: Minimal.
