1. Meet or exceed patient care requirements by assisting the Clinic Nurse Supervisor manage the operations within the Clinic.
- Monitor adherence to policy and procedure to ensure safety of patients and staff.
- Work with other departments in providing services and resources.
- Assist with achieving department goals and objectives.
- Assists in maintaining documentation of patient care services by auditing nursing intake documentation.
- Serve as a resource for staff in solving clinical and operational questions/issues. Uses proper chain of command when unable to resolve these issues.
- Promote trust with open and effective communication.
- Participate in quality and process improvement initiatives for the department.
2. Monitor staff performance by coaching, educating and role modeling to ensure ongoing performance improvement.
- Provide immediate feedback to staff regarding performance issues under the direction of the Clinic Nursing Supervisor.

- Assist in preparation and participate in surveys and certifications.
- Recognize, take action and report deficiencies in a timely manner.
- Assists with monitoring and documenting performance and attendance of staff and report deficiencies to Clinic Nurse Supervisor.
- Reviews documentation and provide input to management for performance appraisals.
3. Meets or exceeds patient care requirements by coordinating the operations within the Clinic.
- Completes patient care requirements by scheduling and assigning nursing and staff; following up on work results.
- Communicate with other health care team members and departments to meet patient care requirements.
- Ensures patient care assignments are based on patient needs and staff competency.
- Serves as a patient advocate.

- Assists in maintaining equipment and checks for outdated supplies monthly for patient care. Report malfunctioning equipment to appropriate personnel. Re-order supplies as needed.

- Resolves patient needs by utilizing multidisciplinary team strategies.
4. Performs emergency treatment as required in accordance with RN scope of practice.
- Initiates or assists in patient care in an effective and responsive manner as each situation requires.
- Triages each potential emergency event appropriately and involves other resources as needed.
- Administers and performs emergent care in accordance with the applicable patient population type, which may range from newborn to geriatrics.
- Follows emergency policies, procedures and protocols in an effective manner.
5. Utilizes the nursing process, for the performance of patient care, to assess, plan, intervene, and evaluate patient care to achieve prioritized patient outcomes according to the appropriate scope of practice.
- Conducts comprehensive rooming intake for clinic patient.
- Reviews, discusses and implements health care provider orders appropriately and takes appropriate measures if there are questions.
- Serves as a patient advocate.
- Demonstrates personal accountability in the delivery of patient care in a competent, professional and compassionate manner.
6. Collaborates with healthcare providers to coordinate medical and nursing management of patient care.
- Promotes team concept through effective communication regarding patient volume and provider needs with appropriate individuals that are involved in the patient’s care.
- Works effectively with ancillary areas as part of the team approach to patient care.
- Directs patient support team members effectively and appropriately.
- Demonstrates initiative and flexibility in the provision of patient care.
- Informs and involves clinic administration regarding patient care issues in a timely and appropriately manner.
7. Promotes and ensures patient and staff safety in all aspects of responsibilities.
- Administers medications, treatments and procedures in a timely and safe manner according to health care provider orders and nursing policy, including appropriate performance of standard precautions, using two patient identifiers, and performing patient risk evaluations every shift.
