Role Overview:
Join our dynamic team as an E-Commerce Marketing Intern and dive into exciting projects that drive marketing and sales initiatives for Cantaloupe's innovative suite of solutions. As a key member of our team, you'll play a hands-on role in shaping Cantaloupe’s digital commerce strategy.
Understanding the Customer Journey & U.S. Buying Behavior
- Analyze customer purchasing behavior in the U.S. online store, identifying key drop-off points, abandoned cart trends, and opportunities to improve the shopping experience.
- Conduct research on eCommerce best practices, conversion rate optimization, and frictionless checkout experiences.
- Develop insights to guide marketing campaign strategies focused on moving customers from interest to purchase.
Campaign Development & Driving U.S. Online Sales
- Work with the Growth Marketing team to create targeted campaigns aimed at reducing cart abandonment and driving impulse purchases.
- Assist in developing messaging and campaign assets for email marketing, retargeting ads, and conversational marketing tools to engage and convert online customers.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (product, sales, and marketing) to align promotional efforts with business goals.
International Expansion – UK Online Store Strategy
- Conduct market research on UK/EMEA eCommerce trends and customer buying behaviors.
- Validate customer demand to finalize which products to feature on the UK online store for launch.
- Assist in developing the UK store launch plan, including messaging, promotions, and customer education on the new purchasing channel.
Performance Analysis & Optimization
- Track the success of U.S. campaigns, analyze conversion data, and assist in A/B testing to refine future strategies.
- Establish key performance metrics for the UK store launch, helping to define success in the first 90 days post-launch.
- Present insights and recommendations to the marketing team based on campaign performance and customer engagement data.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
- Pursuing a degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field.
- Interest in e-commerce and digital marketing, developing go-to-market campaigns and customer acquisition strategies.
- Strong analytical skills with an ability to interpret data and generate insights.
- Team player with excellent communication skills and a desire to learn.
- Strong ability to coordinate and prioritize multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.
- Self-motivated, poised, resourceful, enthusiastic.
Compensation
This is a paid internship position. $21.00/hour
