With us, you can.</h2> <p> </p> <p>Kalmar is looking for a Senior Software Developer who will be responsible for leading the onboard navigation team of software developers. This is a demanding and very visible role which is key to the movement of automated vehicles within the Horizontal  Transport organization. You must be willing to step up and lead through all phases of development cycles.</p> <p> </p> <h2>Main tasks and responsibilities:</h2> <p> </p> <ul> <li>Maintain and develop specific KalmarOne components according to roadmaps </li> <li>Take ownership of SW components which are in the development team’s responsibility</li> <li>Play senior role and use experience to support others in team work</li> <li>Ensure that all engineering and SW development follow roadmap requirements</li> <li>As an autonomous team you will need to lead and facilitate the team in addition to development of processes and improvements.</li> <li>You must be comfortable interfacing with external parties. </li> <li>JIRA defect handling and triaging.</li> <li>Scrum/KanBan process facilitator for handling multiple team responsibilities</li> <li>Exception handling with other parties</li> <li>Regular progress reporting</li> <li>Provide high level expertise and knowledge of Automation SW solutions</li> </ul> <p> </p> <h2>What you’ll need to succeed:</h2> <ul> <li>Education <ul> <li>MSc or BSc, Automation Information Technology or Computer Science</li> </ul> </li> </ul> <p> </p> <ul> <li>Experience <ul> <li>You must be able to step in and be willing to take on the team lead role immediately and start to develop your role and the team’s performance</li> <li>More than 6-8 years of experience of software development projects</li> <li>Proven seniority or merit in the field</li> <li>Experience in team leading in complex software component interaction with multiple internal and external customers</li> <li>You must be very hands on and practical.
