As a Software Engineer Lead within PNC's Enterprise Data Governance organization, you will be based in Strongville, OH.

This role will support the Enterprise Data Governance Team. The focus will be on Data Lineage and Data Quality. Technical skills include AWS, PySpark, Python, SQL, ETL, Power Bi, Oracle, Hive and Teradata. Experience or willingness to learn vendor cloud software installations. Knowledge with DevOps and Agile processes. This role requires the ability to gain an in-depth knowledge of how data flows throughout PNC’s applications with an understanding of source to target mappings and data platforms. The ideal candidate will be able to perform independently, collaborate with peers and business partners, lead a team of offshore developers and have a keen eye for detail.

Job Description

• Creates and leads the technical design and development of software solutions.
• Proposes & designs software solutions to address complex business needs. Prepares technical and procedural documentation required.
• Facilitates complex problem resolution.
• Provides technical guidance and support to colleagues. Reviews coding, testing, and documentation of software.
• Applies modern principles, methodologies and tools to advance business initiatives and capabilities.
