Company OverviewAmerican Family Care (AFC) is one of the largest primary and urgent care companies in the U.S.  American Family Care Davenport cares for our patients and works collaboratively with other providers and staff to ensure a high level of patient satisfaction.  Job SummaryThe Advanced Practice Provider (APP)  position can also be filled by a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant. Responsibilities 

• Perform complete health histories, review patient records, develop comprehensive medical assessments
• Order appropriate laboratory, radiological and diagnostic studies 
• Formulate diagnoses and institute therapy or referrals  
• Institute emergency measures and treatment or appropriate stabilization measures i
• Provide instructions and guidance regarding health care and health care promotion to patients/family/ significant others

Qualifications

• Excellent communicator with staff, patients, and family
• ANCC, AANP, or NCCPA Board Certified – (with 1 yr ER/UC experience preferred)
• Active and current Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner licensure in the state of practice, DEA number, and state-controlled substance certificate, as required

Compensation: $105,000.00 - $145,000.00 per year
