About the Role

We are looking for a dynamic and adaptable Special Projects Manager to lead and execute strategic initiatives within our SaaS-based data-oriented company. This role involves managing cross-functional projects, coordinating with internal and external stakeholders, and driving projects from inception to completion. You will support our mission by ensuring projects align with company goals, meet deadlines, and deliver measurable results.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, execute, and manage special projects that support strategic business objectives.

• Develop and maintain detailed project plans, including scopes, timelines, budgets, and resource allocations.

• Coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure project milestones are met.

• Monitor project progress, identify risks, and proactively develop mitigation strategies.

• Communicate project status, insights, and outcomes to stakeholders at all levels.

• Analyze project data and metrics to evaluate performance and inform decision-making.

• Facilitate project meetings, workshops, and brainstorming sessions to drive alignment and creativity.

• Continuously refine project management processes to improve efficiency and effectiveness.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Project Management, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).

• Experience: 3-5 years of project management experience in a SaaS or technology-driven environment.

• Proficiency in project management methodologies (Agile, Scrum, Waterfall) and tools (Jira, Asana, Trello, or similar).

• Strong understanding of SaaS business models and data-centric projects.

• Experience in managing technical teams and collaborating closely with software developers.

• Experience with data analysis tools and practices, with a focus on driving data-informed project decisions.

• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey complex ideas clearly and concisely both verbally and in writing. 

• Proven track record of managing multiple projects simultaneously, meeting deadlines, and achieving goals.

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

• Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive, solution-oriented mindset.

Nice-to-Have

• Familiarity with data reporting and analysis tools (Excel/Google Sheets, SQL, AirTable)

• Familiarity with interface design and process flow diagramming tools (Figma, 

• Knowledge of SaaS metrics and analytics, including customer acquisition, retention, and product usage data.

• Portfolio of past project management plans.
