Position Purpose: The Clinical Training Director leads the Advancement and Clinical Excellence (ACE) Institute and will be responsible for creating and guiding systems, programming, resources and tools associated with the clinical training of post degree, pre licensure clinicians. Provide services in an ethical, legal and moral manner within a safe and therapeutic environment, consistent with applicable regulatory and accreditation standards.
Job Requirements:
- PhD or equivalent in counseling, social work, psychology, family therapy, counseling, or related field
- LCSW, LCPC, LMFT, or LPC required
- Minimum 10 years of experience in the behavioral health field, either as a practitioner delivering evidence based care, or clinical leader
- Minimum 2 years in educational leadership position
Qualifications:
- Experience in program recruitment
- Experience with grant writing, grant applications or grant deliverables preferred
- Awareness and competency related to clinical licensing requirements
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Demonstrated experience in curriculum development, competency development, talent management, or learning and development fields
- Intermediate knowledge of Windows-based software including, Microsoft Excel, Word, Power Point, Publisher, various web browsers, and Outlook
- Resourceful, highly organized, and able to prioritize
Essential Responsibilities:
- Operationalize and lead the Advancement and Clinical Excellence Institute within the Rosecrance Health Network with the goal of 95% participants obtaining licensure within 3 years.
- Develop, implement and sustain a trainee program for post master’s pre licensure clinicians designed to develop exception clinical staff by enhanced learning, providing direct care hours, and offering enhanced training and supervision
- Develop a comprehensive training curriculum focused on Evidence Based Practices
- Develop specific content and curriculum for specialized tracks (including but not limited to, community, crisis, families, leadership, SUD) within the institute
- Coordinate onsite and web based trainings for the institute participants leveraging local, regional and national clinical experts
- Periodically evaluate the Institute learning objectives for relevance and continued program success, modifying and updating as needed to meet program objectives
- Recruitment and retention of part time program faculty
- Recruitment of 20+ participants per year to join the institute programming
- Develop and coordinate faculty development training program
- Provide supervision, support and assistance to clinical faculty within the program
- Cultivate an environment of excellence that champions ongoing learning, DEIB efforts, and clinical growth & competency
- Partner with other departments within Rosecrance to seek out and apply for funding opportunities to support the Institute.
- Establish and implement competency tools and outcome measures that demonstrate program success
- Develop a system to provide formative and summative assessment of program trainees
- Collaborate with the Performance Improvement Department to track and monitor relevant metrics, outcomes and deliverables.
- Preparation and presentation of required metrics, outcomes, deliverables and formal reports as needed
- Exhibits actions and makes decisions that align with the Rosecrance Code of Conduct and within the framework of the law.
- Demonstrates strong customer service skills that incorporate the Rosecrance Way into daily practices and interactions

Schedule: Part-Time (20 hours/week)
- Business hours are 8:30am - 5:00pm, Monday through Friday
- Hours worked can be flexible as long as they fall within regular business hours
