Ferguson is currently seeking the right individual to fill an immediate need for a Delivery and Installation/Service Supervisor.
Position Details
- Reports to District Installation Manager
- Direct oversight of 3 to 5 associates
- Schedule: Monday - Friday 6:30am - 3:30pm plus overtime when needed
Responsibilities
- Provide leadership to the installation team in the market
- Train associates on proper installation procedures
- Consult with associates and customers at job sites
- Order parts to maintain inventory
- Maintain accountability for the cleanliness and organization of the company trucks and DOT compliance
- Use routing software application and post install audits to ensure 3rd party installs meet company standards
- Perform quality checks on the installation work to ensure proper installation practices are used
- Record and report all faults, deficiencies, and other unusual occurrences, as well as the time and materials expended on work orders
- Manage installation related issues and provide solutions
- Inspect and test systems to verify system compliance with plans and specifications or to detect and locate malfunctions
- Install or replace machinery, equipment, appliances and new or replacement parts
- Work with leadership in the warehouse and sales to insure successful completion of our customers appliance delivery and installation needs
- Perform pre-site inspections for scheduled appliance installs working with customers to insure the job site meets appliance specifications and is safe for delivering appliances into the residence
- Partner with District Installation Manager to identify and implement improvements for the appliance installation groups quality of work and safety
- Use software applications to find appliance specifications, review completed or scheduled deliveries.installations, create reports and support Install Coordinator for the market
- Fill in on installation/delivery crews as needed to insure completion of scheduled routes
Qualifications
- Prior installation experience is required
- Valid state issued license is required
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- Possession of Dot Medical Card or the ability to obtain one
- Proven leadership experience
- Excellent customer service skills is a must
- Able to document associate performance and coach for improved performance
- Ability to read and understand product specifications to be able to ensure appliances are installed to manufacturer's requirements
- Must have great mechanical skills and willingness to learn new things.
- Excellent time management, organizational skills, leadership, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work well under pressure, meeting multiple and sometimes competing deadlines

Pay Range:

$19.74 - $42.71-
Estimated Ranges displayed are Monthly for Salaried roles OR Hourly for all other roles.
