Human Resource Generalist

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following: 

• Ensure compliance with labor regulations.
• Conduct interviews to fill vacant positions.
• Administer onboarding and orientation of new employees.
• Investigate and resolve employee issues and complaints.
• Coordinate employee activities and events.
• Respond to and complete employment verifications.
• Coordinate and track performance evaluations.
• Monitor timekeeping system and resolve discrepancies.
• Administer FMLA and leave of absences.
• Issue disciplinary actions and counsel employees.
• Coordinate enrollment and termination of employee benefit plans.
• Maintain employee files and records.
• Input and maintain data in HRIS system.
• Coordinate and conduct safety training to maintain compliance.
• Coordinate drug tests and perform background checks.
• Other duties as assigned.

• Excellent computer skills in MS Office.

 

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

• 3+ years of professional Human Resources experience.
• Related Bachelor’s Degree or HR Certification preferred.
