Assistant Manager, Operations Compensation Range: $30.25 - $32.22

Assistant Manager, Operations Duties & Responsiblities

• Works with the Manager, Operations to oversee the day-to-day operations of the department including managing staff, overseeing Member service, and ensuring compliance with all regulations and policies.
• Act as a subject matter expert on deposit products and/or membership services, using expert-level proficiency in software and technology to provide guidance on intricate Operations matters to Team Members and stakeholders.
• Oversees Overdraft Privilege program to ensure compliance and works to mitigate risk to the member and to the credit union. Provides insightful recommendations to Management based on program observations to continue mitigating risk and creating value for the membership.
• Collaborate with management to develop and implement strategies to mitigate risks, enhance efficiency, and optimize department operations.
• Address escalated member inquiries, including survey research and resolution to complex issues related to deposit accounts with limited management oversight identifying the root cause of the issue.
• Review various reporting dashboards and compile results that provide insights into key performance metrics including productivity and service level standards for management review.
• Monitor workflows and participate in quality assurance activities to ensure that work meets established SLA standards.
• Conducts training sessions on advanced Operations processes and industry developments.

Assistant Manager, Operations Qualifications 

• High School diploma or equivalent required.

• 3-5 years prior experience in a financial institution.  Prior Management, Supervisory or Lead experience is preferred.
