About the role
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues.
- Support the IT team in setting up and configuring computers, printers, and other devices.
- Install, update, and maintain software applications and operating systems.
- Help monitor and maintain IT infrastructure, including servers and networks.
- Respond to user requests for technical support and document resolutions.
- Assist in cybersecurity awareness efforts and best practices.
- Participate in IT projects such as system upgrades, migrations, or new technology implementations.
- Maintain IT documentation, including asset tracking and user manuals.
- Perform other IT-related tasks as assigned.
Requirements:
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Basic knowledge of operating systems (Windows, macOS, Linux) and office productivity software.
- Familiarity with networking concepts, troubleshooting, and hardware setup.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Knowledge of Microsoft 365
- Accounting background or course work is a plus.
- Ability to learn quickly and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Hands-on experience in a real-world IT environment.
- Potential for full-time permanent employment based on performance.
