Your Role at BaxterThe Assistant Supervisor is a member of the Manufacturing Leadership Team reporting directly to the Manufacturing Supervisor or Superintendent. They provide direct support to manufacturing to ensure that products meet the required specifications by coordinating activities of employees who perform in the manufacturing areas. The Assistant Supervisor provides decision-making and oversight to ensure compliance to all regulatory agency regulations and guidelines and to Baxter Standard Operating Procedures. This position fully supports and drives quality operations on the production floor and communicates effectively with production team members, multiple levels of management, and other support departments.

What You'll Be Doing
- Delegate, coordinate, and schedule activities of assigned employees.
- Promote a safe work environment and train and mentor other employees
- Troubleshoot process problems and respond to process alarms.
- Assist in developing/reviewing batch records.
- Assist in establishing and orienting new projects and Lean initiatives for production.
- Participate in daily tier meetings and review and execute process improvement activities.
- Document tasks per (GDP) Good Documentation Practices requirements.
- Organize and coordinate general cleaning and sanitizations throughout assigned area per GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices).
- Review documents/processes (SOP’s, JIBs, equipment, methods, etc.) to prevent errors and/or recognize unexpected results
What You'll Bring
- High school diploma or GED required
- 6 months Manufacturing experience / leadership experience preferred
- Knowledge of cGMP manufacturing preferred.
- Computer proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook and the ability to use enterprise software (examples include: JDE, BPLM, POMs, Maximo etc.)
Physical / Safety Requirements
- Duties may require overtime work, including nights and weekends
- Must be able to lift 26 lbs.
- Use of hands and fingers to manipulate office equipment is required
- Position requires standing and walking for extended periods of time

The estimated range is meant to reflect an anticipated salary range for the position. We may pay more or less than of the anticipated range based upon market data and other factors, all of which are subject to change. Individual pay is based on upon location, skills and expertise, experience, and other relevant factors.
