Overview
The Organizational Strategy and Planning team leads the development of long-term organizational strategy and guides the organization through a strategy-led annual planning process to ensure the health of the business and organizational alignment. This team partners with senior leaders across the business to align initiatives with organizational strategy to deliver meaningful outcomes for Customers, Restaurants, and the business.
A role on this team will provide a dynamic, fast-paced experience with high-visibility and opportunity for impact. This role will lead significant efforts to drive organizational alignment to the Strategy & Plan through communications and Chick-fil-A Business Reviews. This role is responsible for supporting the Executive Committee's ongoing strategy development efforts and coordinating with cross-functional teams to inform that work.
This role requires a strong professional who is self-motivated to independently drive work forward while working collaboratively with the broader Strategy & Planning team to ensure alignment and coordination. This role requires creative problem solving, excellent strategic thinking skills, adaptability, and expertise in process development/management. When working with Senior Leaders, this role will need strong communication and facilitation skills.
Responsibilities
Lead Strategy & Annual Plan communications and change management to Staff & Operators: - Lead the change management effort to immerse the organization in the new 2030 strategy, near-term strategy, including goals, and revised Business Framework - Drive and maintain annual communications plan throughout the strategy and planning process, mobilizing various partners to deliver timely, relevant communications to the business- Edit and approve communications, ensuring alignment to communications plan and consistency with Organizational Strategy & Planning "voice"- Support Chick-fil-A Business Review content development, drive coordination with insights providers and develop post-read to inform Staff- Own key enterprise-wide deliverables such as Annual Plan Guidance, Multi-Year Business Plans and Organizational Plan Share as well as deliverables for Senior and Executive Leadership like Chick-fil-A Business Review
Lead management of organizational goals roll-out and tracking for Staff-wide visibility and to inform Senior Leader decision-making:
- Develop systematized approach for tracking and evaluating organizational goals- Partner with insights partners to evaluate progress and share updates with Sr. Leaders in key planning milestones- Partner with Corporate Communicates and insights partners to create ongoing visibility into organizational goals- Develop and share goal setting best practices to enhance the organizational muscle for goal setting
Support Principal Strategy Lead on project management of Executive Committee strategy development:- Coordination of strategy task force teams to prepare for Executive Committee presentations- Documentation of strategy development for Executive Committee reference and Senior Leader alignment- Design and support execution of new Strategy Review process with the Executive Committee- Benchmark other companies and build network of relationships to inform strategy development
Support and inform the overall strategy and planning development process
Develop and deliver presentations for the Executive Committee and key stakeholder meetings
