In this role, you will provide leadership and direction to all security personnel and all program policies and procedures.  Responsibilities include supervision, deployment of personnel and other duties as assigned. Directly supervise Security staff protecting property and entrance to restricted areas, maintaining crowds at public events, performing security inspections for risks, and controlling safety rule infractions. Manage schedules based on demand, skill set and distribution. Supervise Security professionals performing protective service duties by monitoring work in line with Security program standards and policies. Assume full responsibility for security personnel in all health system areas in the absence of the security operations manager. Supervise and train security officers and other personnel assigned to protective service duties. Directly supervise Security staff protecting property. Provide leadership and administrative oversight of the Photo Identification Program in the absence of the manager. Additionally, you will enforce all policies and state laws, and follow all guidelines including state regulatory agency requirements.


Salary Range: $26.10 - $49.38 / Hour

Job Qualifications

·       Incumbent must possess and maintain current certification in a California Guard Card and D.O.J. Chemical Agent

·       Must have BCLS Certification from the American Heart Association or Red Cross

·       Must have a current and valid CA driver’s license

·       Ability to see aspects of public relations in all facets of the job and the ability to understand the effects of actions on the entire organization
