Join us.<br/> <br/> About the team: <br/> The Government Relations and Public Policy team covers a wide range of responsibilities: government affairs and government relations; policy and issue area expertise; risk and crisis management and mitigation; outreach, coalitions, and partnerships. The mission of the team is to earn trust and prevent, manage, and mitigate political, legislative, and regulatory threats to TikTok.<br/> <br/> Responsibilities:<br/> - Stay abreast of emerging policy trends and developments at the international level, providing insights and recommendations to internal stakeholders on potential implications for TikTok’s business and operations.<br/> - Collaborate closely with internal cross-functional teams, including PR, Legal, Product and Engineering, to align engagement efforts with TikTok’s broader strategic objectives. <br/> - Build and execute engagement strategies in individual markets to bring coherence and expertise to local projects and teams across markets. <br/> - Represent the company at external events, in industry dialogue and in GR stakeholder conversations to identify and unlock opportunities, build networks and establish TikTok as a relevant player in the data center business.<br/> - Establish and maintain meaningful relationships and deliver innovative projects with industry associations, academia and NGOs and drive long-term impact on the sustainability efforts of the company.
