Your schedule will be Monday-Friday 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM, with overtime on a business need basis.

Compensation

• $1,500 Sign on Bonus*

What You Will Do

• Ensure materials are readily available at workstations to prevent production delays. 

• Identify and remove waste from the production process, contributing to efficiency. 

• Manage the timely flow of information, including Kanban cards and status boards, to ensure proper material supply and production flow. 

• Replenish tools and equipment, and potentially assist with changeovers.

• Demonstrate proper use of simple hand and machine tools.

• Accurately read and follow procedures, routing and other work instructions.

• Responsible for quality product standards with no defects.

• Ensure creation of parts meet customer deadlines and expectations.

• Comply with applicable elements of quality systems.

• Participate in cost reduction plans and continuous improvement plans/events as required.

• Participate in audits.

• Acquire applicable skill/knowledge/certifications as required.

• Maintain materials, equipment, and work area in clean and orderly condition.

• Comply with all rules and regulations of RTX, including, but not limited to: Environmental Health and Safety, Ethics, International Trade Compliance, and Human Resources.

• Examine methods and results for conformance to standards and reinstruct as required.

• Report to lead or supervisor on work progress and updates including conditions surrounding failures to meet quality standards.

• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications You Must Have

• Typically requires HS diploma (or equivalent, e.g. G.E.D in the US) or vocational/ technical education in related discipline with one year of relevant experience
