We are currently seeking a Technical Delivery Lead (Java) - Hybrid/On-Site to join our team in Auburn Hills, Michigan (US-MI), United States (US).

 

Responsibilities:

• Accountable for planning and managing a group of related multiple technology projects or activities in a coordinated way from inception through successful delivery.
• Focus on the customer experience, the build and delivery processes and the problems to be solved. 
• Work across multiple scrum teams.
• Work may be cross-cutting across products, scrum teams, and/or technologies or your work may be vertically focused on a single product or feature set.  
• Align dependent organizations and remove/mitigate all blocking issues. 
• Facilitate internal communication and effective collaboration  
• Be the point of contact for external communications (e.g. from customers or stakeholders) 
• Work with product owners to handle backlogs and new requests 
• Resolve conflicts and remove obstacles that occur 
• Help teams implement changes effectively 
• Ensure deliverables are up to quality stand      

Requirements:

• Minimum of 5 + years' experience in delivering application development projects
• Demonstrating leadership skills and possessing a track record of managing the delivery of technical work via analysts, developers, and testers.
• Successful track record of managing project financials in alignment with a project budget.
• Strong project management skills, with experience in organizing, planning, and executing large scale projects from vision through implementation, involving internal personnel, contractors, and vendors Strong Technical knowledge with hands-on experience, managing application development Strong verbal and written communications skills, with an ability to express complex technical concepts in business terms
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and conceptual skills
• Strong interpersonal skills; ability to communicate and persuade at all management levels and thrive in a cross-functional environment
• Experience with web technologies/projects [Java/J2EE, CSS, HTML5 and JavaScript (Angular, jQuery, Bootstrap, etc) JSON, XML]
• Experience with web service technology platforms and frameworks (IBM Integration Bus (IIB), Spring Services)
• Must have a technical background and be capable of managing technical resources through design, develop, test, and technical implementation activities of a project.
• Experience with agile / iterative methodologies to deliver solutions
• Strong experience in managing Application Development projects with multiple parallel work streams
• Strong skills in effectively utilizing MS Project to establish meaningful project schedules and manage project delivery is required
• Hands-on experience using JIRA within the project delivery methodology is required
