This role is a highly visible opportunity on the Rebates Forecasting Decision Science team, responsible for modernizing and innovating to advance
rebate performance and profitability for both clients and the PBM organization.
The Product team designs and builds applications that create insights transforming the healthcare industry. The products we are building
have a strong forecasting, what-if scenario, and financial analysis components to them. You will work on testing multiple components of the
Rebate Forecasting suite, and your primary responsibility will be ensuring that products are delivered of high quality and on time.
Your role is vital to ensure that testing requirements have been met before changes are put into production. This has a great impact on end
users of these applications and the quality of service we provide to our internal customers.
We are part of the Analytics & Behavior Change organization that serves as a critical partner to various teams across the enterprise helping
them to achieve core business goals.
Position Summary
- Participate in the full software development project lifecycle with emphasis on Quality Assurance activities in the proper implementation.
- Support the development of comprehensive test strategies, plans, reports, and environments for manual or automated testing for multiple IT projects in a release cycle.
- Lead or participate in continuous improvement initiatives or best practices to identify and implement tools and utilities that enhance testing capabilities and product quality
- Implement the quality assurance strategy and planning, effort estimation, and software quality assurance risks assessment and mitigation.
- Develop Automation framework from scratch and enhance existing framework.
- Execute test cases and validate results, meet deadlines, and provide first tier of triage for project defects found during test execution.
- Generate test reports that communicate test results, concerns, and project status with an emphasis on project risk, including defect rates to the product management team.
- Implement automation standards across the applications.
Helping QA colleagues, monitor the projects executed by them and guide them to be successful.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ Years of experience in development of test strategy, test schedule, estimates, detailed test cases and execution to ensure adequate test. coverage for projects following iterative agile/scrum methodologies.
- 3+ Years of experience in building automation framework and its implementation across large organizations.
- 2+ years of hands-on experience with Python, SQL queries is a must.
- 5+ years of experience in QA methodology and principles, tools, processes, and metrics.
Preferred Qualifications
- Quality assurance experience of finance applications. Experience with insurance and pharmacy benefit management a plus.
- Experience with Azure Databricks or Google Cloud Platform.
- Expert on understanding complex business logic
- Strong understanding of different types of testing including but not limited to: Functional, Integration, Regression, shakeout, E2E etc.
Education
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Applied Math, Operation Research, Statistics, Health Policy, or other related field, or Advanced Degree
Pay Range
The typical pay range for this role is:
$94,500.00 - $196,000.00This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
